That year he courted controversy with a joke about Caitlyn Jenner’s contribution to stereotypes about women drivers, and awkwardly buddied up with Mel Gibson, a target since his first time hosting in 2010.
In the intervening years the world has decidedly turned on Gervais’s PC-baiting shtick, but his mocking approach has a more welcome setting in an arena filled with fame-hungry, back-patting, multi-millionaires. So who’s in his sights this time? Well, everyone.
