He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition with the medical director on board. Footage showed paramedics working behind a white sheet on the cordoned-off road.
Another of the trio had suffered wounds to his abdomen and shoulder, and was transported in a serious but stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. The other had received significant facial injuries and was also transported to the RBWH.
Inspector John Kent told Nine News two separate crime scenes had been identified inside the building.
He said the initial incident may have occurred on one of the higher floors. “The victims have then made their way down to another floor and then further out onto the street,” he said.
Another 18-year-old is a helping police with their inquires as investigations continue.
