The ASX has moved out of a cramped position this morning and is now up 24 points to 5345, a gain of 0.5 per cent.
Financials, consumer discretionary, industrials, real estate, and info tech are all out-performing. Healthcare is the biggest drag this morning, energy and materials are also lower.
Westpac is up 3.7 per cent to $15.22 after revealing the size of its impairment this morning. Commonwealth Bank and ANZ Bank are tagging along for the ride, up 1.4 per cent and 2.2 per cent respectively. However, National Australia Bank, is still 2.6 per cent lower.
The biggest gains this morning are with Corporate Travel, up 6.9 per cent, Bravura Solution, up 6.8 per cent, and Perenti Global, up 6.3 per cent.
The biggest declines are with Beach Energy, down 5.3 per cent, Northern Star Resources, down 5.1 per cent, and Regis Resources, down 4.5 per cent.
