Breast Cancer vaccine to be trialed by Australian researchers – Sky News Australia

A vaccine to stop breast cancer survivors from relapse is ready to be trialed by Australian researchers.

The jab will not be given as a preventative measure, but is intended to be administered to people who have already been diagnosed with the disease.

It’s hoped the vaccine will prompt the body to recognise and eliminate cancer cells.

Human clinical trials could begin in the next three to four years.
